We receive no government funds for the operation of the Bathurst Animal Shelter itself. Our Board of Directors are all unpaid volunteers, and our main funding comes from bequests, grants, fundraising events, donations, adoption and surrender fees, boarding fees, and rentals. We are contracted by the City of Bathurst for Animal Control in the city only.
We are grateful to all those who have volunteered their time or donated funds, food, supplies or equipment to make the plight of animals in our region more bearable. Any donation made to the Bathurst Animal Shelter would be greatly appreciated!
